Tenancy Terms v0
Effective 04/07/2026
Tenancy Terms v0 — plain language, on purpose. This is the starting point for how a tenancy works between you and the operator. We’ll version it as it grows up; this is v0.
1. Who's who
“The operator” (“we”, “us”) is the team that runs tenant and the infrastructure underneath it. You can reach us at frontdesk@tenant.cx any time. “You” or “the tenant” is the company that takes a tenancy: the account holder responsible for the operation space and everything ordered through it.
2. What a tenancy is
A tenancy is an operation space on shared infrastructure: your data, your queue, your budget, isolated by construction from every other tenant on the platform. You don’t own the infrastructure — nobody does, individually — you rent space on it, and every upgrade we ship to the shared platform lands in your space automatically, at no extra cost.
3. Plans and billing
Tenancy plans are month-to-month. There’s no annual contract and no cancellation fee. Once your move-in request is approved, we activate your account manually and send your first invoice by email — there’s no card payment in the portal today. Prices are exactly as published on /pricing at the time you sign; if we change a plan’s price, the new price applies from your next billing cycle, and we’ll tell you first.
4. The SCU
The SCU — Service Consumption Unit — is the unit the whole catalog is priced in. 1 SCU = €1.00, flat, no exceptions. Your plan includes a monthly SCU allocation that lands in your wallet on activation and again each billing cycle. Included SCUs roll over for up to three months, and your wallet caps at twice your monthly inclusion — unused SCUs don’t vanish at month-end, but they don’t stack forever either. SCUs you top up separately don’t expire while your tenancy stays active.
5. Ordering
Nothing gets built, written or shipped without a quote you’ve accepted first. Every order lands as “quoted” — a range, not a bill — and we resolve it to a fixed SCU number before any work starts. You approve the fixed quote, the SCU is reserved from your wallet, and only then does the fleet pick it up. If a quote changes scope significantly partway through, we stop and requote rather than run the meter past what you agreed to. Orders run through one queue; you can multiply an order’s SCU cost to move it up — ×1.5 for priority, ×2 for front of queue. Same work, same quality; the multiplier buys the position.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime — there’s no lock-in and no exit fee. Your operation space winds down cleanly: any in-progress orders finish or get refunded in SCUs, whichever you’d rather. Your data is yours: leave any time and take it with you — everything is returned to you or deleted on request. We don’t hold your work hostage on the way out.
7. Acceptable use
We work on lawful projects only. We can decline an order, or end a tenancy, if what’s being asked of us is illegal, deceptive, or something we’re not comfortable putting our name on. That’s a judgement call we make rarely and explain when we do.
8. Service expectations, stated honestly
Delivery runs through an AI fleet with human review before anything ships to your queue. We don’t promise perfection — we promise that what we get wrong, we fix, at no extra SCU cost, once you flag it. We don’t guarantee rankings, AI citations, or any specific business outcome. Nobody honest can, and anyone who does is selling you a story, not a result.
9. Liability
If something goes wrong on our side, our liability to you is capped at whatever you’ve paid us in the three months before the issue — no more. This isn’t us trying to dodge responsibility; it’s us being upfront about the size of the promise a platform at this stage can reasonably make.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms are versioned — this is v0. If we make a material change, we’ll email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use your tenancy after that point means you’ve accepted the new version. Minor clarifications (fixing a typo, tightening wording) don’t require a new version number.
11. Privacy, plainly
We store what you give us to run your tenancy: your account details, your operation data, your order history. We don’t sell it, and we don’t use it for anything beyond running your tenancy and improving the platform you’re on. You can request deletion at any time — email frontdesk@tenant.cx and we’ll action it.
12. The founding three
Exactly three founding tenancies carry a +30% SCU bonus on every monthly inclusion, for the life of the tenancy. The bonus is a rate on an ongoing month-to-month tenancy — it is not lifetime access, and it lapses if the tenancy lapses. The base price is never discounted. A founding seat includes a reference obligation: once real results exist, we agree a named case study or testimonial together, honestly framed — you approve what’s published. The seat count is enforced and publicly counted down on the pricing page; when the three are taken, the offer is closed.
